your fabric is very nice and has alot of diffrent uses but I would try and incoporate some solids with it also so it wont look to busy.

I agree with SewSew on the Pink Lemonade Pattern.

I think this fabric is elegant and needs a sophiscated pattern. Maybe do the Tennessee Waltz. Or El's Morning Star (pg. 60 in QTTS) or Country Lanes (pg. 206 in QTTS). You would need maybe a tone on tone white or dove gray (not sure what the other color is in the fabrics) for your background.

Please let us know which you choose. It's just gorgeous!

Have Fun,

Gals

Thanks for all the wonderful suggestions.. I'll have to look through my QTTS books. I got the fabric right here at QIAD!!! (if there's any more laying around the warehouse Linda... let me know! :-) ) Truthfully I buy very little fabric any where else. I'm so spoiled by QIAD fabric, nothing seems to compare. I might grab something at Joann or Hancocks if I need something in a hurry, or a little piece to go with some thing I already have. There is a local quilt shop about 7 miles from me, but I don't get out very often to stop there.

I'm trying desperately to be good and not buy any more fabric at least until I get back from AZ... have to save the credit card to use on vacation!!!

Thanks for all your help girls!!!

Add a couple of solids and/or tone on tone and anything you make will be gorgeous!

What beautiful fabrics. I love black with nice prints like you have.

What about Double Irish Chain, the large paisley for the large block & the pink for the outside of the chain with the small black print for the center of the chain. It is beautiful fabric.

that fabric is lovely. I love pinwheels too that might look great with this fabric. Maybe find some brown tone on tone to go with it or I love a fabric called Fingerpaint

my LQS has this line and I have used it in black and the green version. I need to buy some of the brown for my leaf quilt.
