I pieced this wall hanging a while ago -- but I wasn't sure if I was going to move or stay here, so I didn't finish it until recently, and it seemed to take forever to do it for some reason!!!

This is from one of Eleanor's books... I think "Still Stripping". I made the strips narrower, so I could get the pattern I wanted. Still, this measures about 48" square. Used a curtain rod to hang it, because I think the dowels I had weren't strong enough!!

If I had to do over, I wouldn't have gone so dark on the last blue strip..... oh well..

I think it looks nice. With the darker brown and green, I think the darker blue is just fine.

I like it as it is.....with the borders being dark, I think it gives it a pleasant rich look and eyes are drawn to the pattern and not the border, yet it is framed and contained. Very nice!

That's just beautiful!! The dark blue is just fine, IMO. Gives it a good balance.
