Very nice. You did a great job -- I'm working on an Irish Chain also. I wish I would have thought of using a print for my lighter color -- went with white. Haven't decided on my border, so was happy to see yours - thanks:)

Gorgeous! I really like the print intstead of white or solid. I made mine with white and was OK but really like the movement of yours. The colors are superb! Love your borders and the 9 patch at the corners, nice idea. My opinion is an overall great job!

Lynns, It's one of El's pattern that i've taken down the instructions on tv many years ago
here's a link for a free pattern - the second is the seminole or harlequin border, they're the same. It's not the same techniques that I've used. It was: sew strips together, cut, sew again, trim... The one I've made is the "version B"
