Carin, I've practiced by doing many checker's placemats before starting on a larger quilt. If the points didn't matched , I unsew, than sew again. That's how I'd learned :-)

lovely.....the precision is wonderful but more than anything you can tell it is a comfy piece of love to cuddle up with
