That's a wonderful setup Debbie! Everything close at hand. The only trouble is that the table is about the size of my whole sewing room! In my next life I want a nice setup like that with lots of light and a beautiful view. But for this life I'm delegated to a glorified closet. It's either that or haul my machine and everything for it to the kitchen table! I get tired thinking about that. I'd never get any sewing done. I'm so glad for you:-)) Jan/dreaming with my eyes open

Thanks for all the wonderful comments! I have only been on this forum for a few weeks and have been thoroughly enjoying it!!
I know the feeling of being in a glorified closet and lugging all your supplies from room to room...
Hope to chat with all of you again soon, and share lots of neat ideas...

I wouldn't part w/ my cabinet for anything, but telling you about it won't really help as the company is out of business. It has a motorized lift, which makes it worth its weight in gold.

However, if I were in the market for a table for one of my other machines, I'd probably go with the SewEZ. I've looked at them and them seem sturdy. The most important is that you are comfortable with your choice. Happy hunting.

I have wanted a regular sewing table with a way to put my machine away but they are all so expensive. I found a glass top corner computer desk at a local store and the price was right: $125. I can have my sewing machine on one side and my serger on the other. No way to put the machines away but that may be a good thing!!! The corner piece holds my thread rack for regular sewing. My embroidery thread is on the wall. Don't have a photo but it works well for me right now. My sewing room is still a work in progress with the "sewing table", a desk for my laptop and printer as well as books and patterns, a 4 shelf unit to hold my embroideralbes and quilting fabrics, a closet stuffed almost to the max with fabrics just waiting for a project. Guess I am a junky when it comes to fabrics and notions. I am in the process of finishing my very first quilt. Just have the binding to put on and voila! I am a quilter!!
