Carolyn - WalMart
I used to be thrilled just to go to the grocery store by myself, LOL.
I'd love to see the log cabin blocks. My MIL just made a LC that was absolutely beautiful!

MM - glad you are OK. Sounds like a hazardous trip you made. Scary.
TCB I LOVE the colors of your quilt. I had a bit of trouble with matching on the baby quilt I'm doing. All I can tell you is to make sure your seams are pressed to opposite sides so when you are piecing you can feel the seams lock together. If you have trouble feeling them you can always pin pin pin.
Hummingbird - I hope you don't have the 'crud'. I've had it for 3 weeks and 3 days and it's better but not gone yet.
Gmaann - stitch in the ditch is good, nothing wrong with that at all.
This morning I went to my hair dresser then met my pregnant daughter, my sister, and my friend at Babies R Us to shop. I was there THREE HOURS!!! Came home then DH and I went out to dinner. I was so hungry for seafood - it was an hour round trip plus an hour for dinner. Then stopped at Academy for some Astros (baseball) stuff. Came home and sat down for a minute and woke up an hour later. And here I am. Going to go put borders on the boy twin's quilt and then I'm done with the twins quilts until after the baby shower next weekend. They are going to the shower unquilted but I'm afraid to start one - might not get it finished and don't want to take it off the frame 1/2 done. I might not be able to get it back on right. Our weather is so spring-like. It was sunny and got up to about 72*. Started getting cloudy this afternoon but no rain yet.

Wow, I'm fighting a cold/flu bug too. Maybe we all talk too much on here and we're passing it around:) I'm working on some scrappy french braids tonight. I have two made and want to get 3 more done.

Hi all, I sewed all afternoon. I almost have the center panel finished for my baby quilt, then I can start piecing everything together.
I will pop in and out if I get a chance, but hubby just got home so don't know if I will be able.
Hope you all have a wonderful time. ((((Hugs))))

Hi ladies!! Just wanted to pop in and see what everyone is doing. I'm not gonna stay too long...got a cold or something and I'm feeling kinda puny!!! I'll probably go snuggle on the couch and read the rest of "The Quilter's Apprentice"....I just hope the library has the next one in line...I want to read them in order. Well you all have a good night. And everyone that's not feeling well....Feel better!!!

Thank you all for saying nice things about stitch in the ditch. I've taken 4 machine quilting classes, including a 3 day workshop with Harriet Hargrave, and STILL don't feel confident enough to free motion quilt.
