I finally finished son's lap quilt. He is very pleased and say's he will now be patient for the big quilt to get quilted. I was tickled to see the smile on his face. I will add it to the quilt photos. It took a bit of effort to do the binding but I think it looks nice with the colors changing from red and blue.

Everyone's busy with christmas projects. No ufo's finished here. Thought I would get some done this weekend but doubt it. What are you up too?

Sharon, I have been AVOIDING my UFOs...<hanging head>

Christmas projects are taking precedent around here as well. Also working on a couple of "event" and "thank you" quilts that I want to get done. <lame excuse inserted here>

I took my "mug o' the month" quilt to camp with me, never even pulled it out of my suitcase...<hanging head again> It will have to wait until after some other projects are off my plate. Then I can haul it out and determine what I need to do to get it to work.

YUCK, I detest getting stuck on a project...wonder if this is what writers' block feels like--?

My UFO are on the back burner because of making gifts. The UFO's were actually put there the week before Christmas because of knee surgery. Can you imanage I had to go nearly 15 days before I could sit at the sewing machine. My only saving grace was that I got to look through a lot of quilting magizines and have my hubby wait on me hand and foot. He was a great caretaker!

Busy Lady, 15 days...Yikes! I hope all went well.

The tractor quilt finaly went to the LA today. Now I've got to get those pillow shams done for DD for Christmas.

Carole J, I too hate it when a project isn't turning out as expected. Maybe the new year will bring you some new insight.

Hi there Betty. There is no such thing as sounding stupid, here. A UFO is an Un-Finished Object. We tend to have a lot of them. LOL Or some of us do that is. LOL So good to have you join us and hope you will post often. Seriously, there is no such thing as sounding stupid or a dumb question, so if you think of something you want to ask, ask & surely somebody will be able to help. Again, Welcome.

Hugs

Well, the binding is going on the tractor quilt. Obviously not in time for Christmas. LOL I'll see if I can post a photo when it's done. I'm ok with the way it turned out.

How exciting is that to get to the binding on your tractor quilt sunsup! I am kind of excited about having Christmas gift building behind me, maybe I can do some work on my UFO's.
