Re: UFO Support Group
Finished my UFO today. Will post pics when hubby can help me hold up quilt. It is king size so can't manage on my own and he is finding it more important to wash the vehicles than take pics of my quilt! I cannot believe it!

I found a way to take pictures when there is no one around. I've got several pants hangers that the hook turn on. I clip 4 or 5 to the top of my quilt and then stand on a stool and hang the quilt on the gutter on the back of the house.

Worked on getting those marks out AGAIN. The Magic Eraser seemed to lighten them a bit, but I was worried for the integrity of the fabric, so moved on to other products. The Dial liquid didn't do much o' nuthin, but it was worth a try. Then I tried Shout gel and a soft baby toothbrush, let it sit for a good 10 minutes or so, followed up with another run through the washing machine. When I took a quick peek at it yesterday evening, after it had air-dried, the marks seemed to have lightened pretty significantly.
When the sun comes up--an hour later today (grrrr)--I will examine it more closely. <sigh>

TOP of UFO finished today! I just want to show off my top. I haven't decided how to quilt it. If I do it by hand, it will be a very long time before I can post a picture.
I pinned it to the wall. My DH probably would have held it if I asked.

I've now completed the second top from my Thangles BOM I did a couple of years ago. There are two more blocks to complete the set. One will go on the back of each quilt when I get that far.

It's hard to believe that these 10 blocks were supposed to go into a single quilt.

Good for you Knitnoid! I wasn't too thriled with Thangles myself. I found it annoying to have to remove the paper. What did you think of them?
Your tops are very nice, by the way. I like the way you mounted the blocks on bigger squares.

I wasn't thrilled with the Thangles. I don't know if I would use them again or not. As for setting them in larger squares, I didn't have much choice since my blocks were all different sizes.

Wow knitnoid those are great. It sure looks like a lot of work. The way you put the small blocks on the solid color is neat. What is Thangles?

Knitnoid, dang it all girl...how do you manage to crank out such gorgeous work over and over again?! Your quilts never fail to dazzle and impress me.
I love the look of the pieced blocks set off-kilter! Adds a nice touch of fun to the whole project.
