quilt tops?

hi...
have a quilt top my husband''''s grandmother made...i am wanting to find creative suggestions of what to do with it besides make a quilt?

I have seen bears, aprons, pincushions, pillows, table toppers, placemats, etc. made of quilt tops.

Could you post a picture of it? That would help with suggestions.

If it's real pretty, you might want to get curtain rods and hang it on the wall as a wall hanging. Since it's just a top, it shouldn't be too heavy for the rods. You might want to starch it first to make it hang flat. I bought a rod a while back that has 8 clips across it to hold the material.

A friend had me make several stuffed animals from one of her mother's quilts that was worn to give to each of her grandchildren so they would have a keepsake of their great-grandma.

My husbands grandmother had teddy bears made for grandkids & greatgrand kids from quilts that were too used to repair. It made a great memorial to her after her death.
