Chriss, I agree with you, isn't mcmema's little Jordyn adorable? She's going to love her pink flannel quilt so much and look like a doll wrapped up in it!

Mcmema, how old is Jordyn?

Is Mcmema still here?

:)

I so agree GP, that little Jordyn is a cuty pie.

All of you ladies are really on a roll with all the quilting going on.
I like that idea of a coloring book being used for animal shapes.

Hi Susanna, how are you doing? I am so proud of you and your attack on smoking.

I read where twizzlers are your new cigarette.... great choice.

Hi, Tulpje! I can relate to not being able to find your pattern! Doesn't it irritate you to want to quilt then just can't get everything pulled together, inspiration, fabric choices, lose your pattern, whatever! What's your temps out there? We've still got snow covering the ground and the temps are dropping now and it's supposed to get into the teens and then we'll have ice...I'm not going anywhere until it melts...and even then might stay home and sew! LOL!

MG, I'm doing pretty good.
I left those twizzlers alone for today, I can't just eat (smoke) one.

GP, there is a chance when I DO find that pattern, I'll look at it and say "Nah, that's not what i want either"

Temps where in the mid 60's today, but are rapidly falling now. It'll get to the low and mid 40's here, further North towards Julian in the 20's with snow.

I got the Twisted Star pattern and have been wanting to make it. What fabrics are you thinking of using for yours?

I'm looking at a nice sunset from my window upstairs here.
I'll be happy when the 'winter' is over with.

Jeff and I might drive up to Ontario tomorrow to go to the Road to Calif. show where El is.

GP, I actually had planned to make them from flannel, but then I got scared away from that LOL cause everyone says you better wash flannel before sewing.
