Thanks Caroyln from MO.

Your blocks arrived today. They are all lovely. I like the flower block you've made. Can't wait to get it photographed b/c I can't explain it.

I think the blocks made from 9 patches and snowballs are really cool and geometric when you lay them out together.

Thanks also for the star/pinwheel block. My daughter loves how it appears to be spinning :)

Sandra from TN your block arrived today.

It is really something. The colours and fabrics are wonderful and blend so well together. I don't know the name of this star but I LIKE IT!

Sorry postage cost you so much. Priority mail is never something I expect. Stuff arrives when it arrives. I do appreciate it, truly, just don't expect it.

You sent the block in plenty of time. It's stamped Jan. 28. I think the postal code being slightly wrong caused the delay.

Postal codes took me some getting used to. Only 10 houses will have the same postal code. Unlike a zipcode that can be shared by thousands of people.

Thank you again Sandy. Your block is lovely and will add to the beauty of the quilt.

Thank you Kittyquilt for the lovely blocks you've sent.

They are so beautiful and elegant. I love them all. I love the colours and the fabrics. I think we would have fun shopping together.

I appreciate your contribution. We'll be working with them dilegently in the next week. We can certainly use them.

:)

Dawne -

Are you still looking for blocks? My friend is coming over this weekend to help me "organize" my sewing room. If I run across any, I'll be glad to send them to you.

Jan,
We can always use 12.5" blocks. This is an ongoing project. Once all the intial frenzy subsides I hope to have time to make blocks myself. Probably this summer.

As they come in we group them loosely by colour. Then, we play with them till we find blocks that really look like they should be in the same quilt. We're just now working on 4 projects. The baby quilt is the first finished.

If you find 12.5" blocks just looking for a home (grin) PM me and I'll make sure you get my address. Just don't rush ship/express post anything. Regular snail mail is just fine :)

Here is the block Sunsup sent. It's one of my favourites. I love the colours and the look of the block. I really liked it even before it went to the longarmer. Look at it now.
