Oh Diane, the pics are just precious! They will always remember making these projects with you! Your granddaughter did such a nice job on her quilt! Thanks for sharing these pics, I enjoyed them so much!

Grammy - you have 2 beautiful grandchildren. Tell your DGD that she did so good on piecing her quilt. Lots of adults don't do that good on their first quilt. Great job!

I love the striped border--adds a very nice touch. Looks nice and snuggly with the Minkee backing!

How wonderful! My younger D (now 18) started in front of the machine at 5 too. She doesn't quilt but wow did she make some incredible formals for herself in high school. I will have to post photos of those.

Your Grandaughter certainly did a wonderful job on her 1st quilt. How fun to share this bond with her.

Awww..I love that! Brings me back to when my grandma was alive and would try to teach me to sew..LOL She was an avid church quilter and was in her quilter's guild for some 30 years. I inherited all her fabrics and books and notions after she passed in 2006...thanks for sharing the photos!

How did I miss these great pics?????????? I just loved your pics of those precious grands. Your DGD did a great job on her quilt. Love her fabric choices!!!!!! You are a lucky grandma. Thanks for sharing the pics.
