Sue, VERY nice! Is this your first quilt, or your first Log Cabin? I love the "lucky sevens" layout but haven't done one in that pattern myself. I also love the touch of green in the sashing.

Well done! You are a clever lady, SuesQuilts! Don´t tell anybody - I wanted to make a chicken pin cushion yesterday (it is made of miniature log cabin blocks) and I totally spoiled it! Just got so confused by going in those rounds (I made each log of a different scrap strip) that I noticed it was all wrong only after having finished four small blocks! The problem was at the very beginning - I had started at a "wrong" place, thus ended up with a mistake in the dark colour "steps" ... I felt so silly! Luckily, it was not a quilt. One simply learns by one´s mistakes ...
