Chriss, thank you, it's good to be here, too! I get cranky when I can't visit with ya'll! Is it just me or is anyone else frazzled after all the rush of Christmas? It really wore me out this year!

I am very glad Christmas is over.... It is just too close to Thanksgiving.... And too too much work.

Yes, DS#3 is stationed at Camp Pendelton - headed to the airport after church and brunch in the AM to put him back on the plane. I think he is ready for your warm weather again. The temps were 5 degrees here Wed. AM and he was scrounging for one of his old coats and came in that night grumbling about the temps!!

Spud, that Quillow is so cute!
I'm going to finish up my French Roses tomorrow. DH is going to his Civil War Round Table meeting, I crack up about that, I keep telling him, "hon, that war is over and we lost, give it up!" LOL! He doesn't do the re-enactments, his group just tours battlefields and discusses the historical events, etc...but boy, is he ever into it! I could understand it if it was quilting! LOL!

Thanks Marilynsgrammy & GP, it is a Quillow. I edited the post to add it open, but still did not do something right. I guess I will figure out how to post pic one of these days.

GP.....no, you're not the only one who felt like that this year. I was stressed out more than I've ever been before. I never even baked a single cookie and that's really unusual for me. The most creative I got was homemade chex mix!! Even the kids noticed that when they came to visit.

GP...they do civil war re-enactments just up the road (about 7 miles) from me in New Market VA. Not really into it myself but a lot of the people around here are. Quilting does make more sense doesn't it?
