How Great. I had a turtle as a pet for many years when I was growing up. I got it when it was about the size of a silver dollar and had it for many years. I left home to find work in Denver (I'm still here). My dad let it run loose in the back yard of his house and his wife's dog chewed it up. My turtle was about 5 inches big at that time. (I could have strangled my Dad) I was intending on bring my turtle to live with me here. But that was many years ago and both have passed on to greater lives. Lowell ;)

Love it...we had tortoises for pets when I was little too, and when they started developing the desert around us my brother and Dad started rescuing them and then we would travel far out in the desert and relocate them. One weekend we took 50 to new homes ;)

Love your puppy dog...My Spike could be her twin :)
