I plan to do all my blocks in both designs so that eventually I will have two quilts. I still haven't started on my blocks yet but I spent last night going over the directions in my book so I can get going on these.

You are amazing Evie, Some day I will try this block and now that I see how you have made a template I am not as afraid of it as I was before..... But I still need a bit of practice under my belt first....you do beautiful work.

Thanks for the compliments!

Littlebit - yours is gorgeous! See, it wasn't so hard! LOL

There are cardboard templates in the back of the book. I do have the acrylic template for the little pieces in the arc. But, if you don't have it, that's okay because there is the cardboard one in back.

Well, I have my blocks done, but while I was trying to find the camera one of them fell down off my design wall and I can't find it!!! Stuff got moved around in my sewing room to put in a cold air return and to fix my sewing cabinet and I don't know if it fell in something that got moved or if some man picked it up and put it somewhere. I am still looking and will post pictures as soon as I find it.

gramajojo, I hope you find it! But, I know it will be beautiful!

Cindyg, you're not alone. There were about 40 people signed up for this BOM and I would say at least 35 are behind! LOL Cindy, I have block 8 done on time, just have not posted pictures yet!

DJ, we are using Quilt in a Day, Egg Money Quilts. We started with Chapter One and are doing a block a month. We are actually on Rocky Road to Kansas which is Chapter 8. If you want to join us, you could start with Rocky Road and also do one or two others every month to get caught up. We don't send the blocks anywhere, we take photos and share tips and problems. There's a new post each month for the new block.
