yeah, they had flame wars going on this quit smoking forum. Very frustrating and hurtfull.

Prayers were moved to a special forum, and with the freedom of speech the loonies still would follow us there to post kinda insulting stuff.

I Love it here. Best forum I've EVER been on.

CooooooooooL, my dough is rising.
I have not made Olie Bollen for WAY to long.

It's gonna smell SO good in the house.

Dough needs to rise for 30 minutes.
I used to make giant badges of this daugh from scratch when the boys were still LOL boys.

I'll take a picture of it when it's done.

I know you have been talking about Olie Bollen. I can almost smell it. Bet it has been a lot of work for you tonight. But hey, you've had company in the kitchen. I kinda been sitting here waiting for this to bake. When does it go in the oven?

Olie bollen is made from dough that needs to rise like a bread with a little bit of a sweet taste to it. This package dough has to rise for 30 minutes. About 20 more minutes to go.

The I heat up the oil. Where the name Olie comes from, to deep fry them. Let them cool and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.

Croquetten is also a Dutch specialty, that my son bought for us at the Dutch store for Christmas. It is a type of thick coulash rolled in seasoned bread crumbs. They get deep fried as well. You eat them hot with mustard.

Yum Yum. :P

Ah, we make that and call it fried bread. We put butter and honey on it. Yours sounds more exotic :)

We just had lemon pie, yum yum !!!!
