Lowell, actually with this wreath pattern, the center is left "blank", so there are no circles. It's from Egg Money Quilts; I think you might be surprised at how easy a pattern it is. I made a cardboard template to get the points nice and even.
This would be a cool pattern done in those old ties...!

I did put a white circle in the middle....easier for me than turning ubder the raw edges of the plate...

Lowell, The Dresden pattern is VERY easy! A lot of people seem to start with the log cabin quilt, I started with the Dresden. If I can do it, so can you and the ties would look beautiful I'm sure. The pattern comes with the petal and circle pattern, QIAD sells just the templates I think under "notions."......Debby
