Come on, Susie......what book are you reading that is so good? Inquiring minds need to know.......lol

I started Nora Roberts "Blood Brothers" this past week & it's really good. It's the start of another trilogy of hers and I can't seem to pass any of those up.

Oh, the book I am reading zfatcat is "First We Have Coffee and then we talk." by Margaret Jensen. Not a new book..written in 1995 but one of those sweet endearing books. Goodnight everyone...sleep tight!

Lori, zfatcat, check out the photo section please. I have a quilt top I would like you to see. The fabrics you sent me for our oncology support group really have helped.

Marilynsgrammy, I have never made a gown. The jammies are fleece with a sweat pattern and I sew them on my serger, easy breezie. The kids love them because they are so soft and cozy. I am just learning to quilt and am in awe of all of you.

It looks like you ladies have had a fun and productive night. I still have not got the hang of the format of this discussion board. I mod a couple but their format is so different. I will just have to get use to this as I really enjoy reading here and you are all so warm and kind and I would like to get more involved, so be patient with me as I learn to navigate this board.

OK.....I want to know who sent the "frog" over here? I was doing just fine and then realized I started sewing on the long side instead of the short side for the strips for the border. I'm going to call it a night, get on my pj's and read for a couple of chapters. The wind is still howling outside, so it'll be a noisy night. Wonder how much more snow we have now. DH will be busy plowing tomorrow. Me, I'm going to stay inside where it's nice & warm. Sweet dreams to all.

spud, I should try pj's... I don't have a serger but could probably use a regular machine huh?

To use this forum I just keep hitting refresh on my tool bar, that way I get updated posts..
