Quilted Chicken

Here is a favorite notion of mine. My quilted pin cushion. It was fun to make. Nothing but scraps.

I love this....do you have a pattern. My Daughter has chickens in her Kitchen, this would be a cute addition....I was thinking of how it could be used to keep notes on, or a recipe card? Hmmm...

The LQS in Okla City has these sitting everywhere throughout the Shop. I bought one and love it. Yours is just soooo cute! Much cuter than the ones in the LQS. It would be fabulous as a gift. Go post it under Gifts for Quilters. Great gift.

The pattern is called, Pollo Loco Pincushion.
I have seen it made with orphan blocks. If you have blocks that didnt turn out right... they make great chickens.

Here is one made with an orphan block. My 10 year old granddaughter made it. She loves pink. We had fun making chickens.
