Re: new round robin for spring
I did not mean to start such a controversy about the size of my medallion. Having hosted a round robin before, I think grouping participants by the size of their medallion is not that easy. Many participants don't even know who they will be grouped with until after they have made their medallion not knowing what size others have done. That is one of the surprises and challenges of the round robin, you don't know what design, size, color and technique you will be working with.
I have changed my mind anyway and will be doing a different center. I have another spring wallanging that has birds in the center medallion, so I thought I should try something a little different for variety.
Leetec and gardenquilter, please know that it is not the size that is making me change my mind to make a different one.

sew sew leave yours at 24" it is absouluty beautiful - i found along time ago that you have to go with your gut when desigining and creating if 24" is what is is then so be it (lol) the same goes in the opposite direction if it is a little smaller then not an issue the biggest thing is that we all have fun - we are ready to send ut the groups but I stll need mailing addresses from a couple ladies i am sending pm's this am -
this is so much fun fun fun - we are all going to have a great time

No worries, Ann. I just didn't want to make a decision without talking to GQ first. No harm no foul. I got a PM from GQ this morning and we will be finilizing the list today! This is so exciting!
If any of you haven't PMed Gardenquilter with your snailmail address please do so today. Also, we would appricate having your email address just in case there is a problem. This is voluntary, you don't have to if you don't feel comfortable doing that. I know everyone will do their best to keep on track with this but we all understand that sometimes things happen beyound our control and we have to sacrifice things we want to do for things we have to do. If this happens, please just pop on here, or PM GQ or I, or someone in your group, so we know something is going on. I don't think anyone minds waiting as long as they know there is a problem, we don't even need to know what the problem is, just a simple message saying "Life is happening, I'm running behind on my round robin." Thank you all for joining this RR, I know it will be the best one ever!
God bless...

Thank you Ann.
Can you tell I used the FF again? I used it for the butterfly, the flower petals and the background. The leaves/stems and the border are regular cotton.
