I finished my center medallion, now its up to the three others in my group to add something to it. I wonder who my fellow quilters will be?

I plan to add button eyes and dimension to the body with the quilting stitches.

I love it Ann! How big is it?

I haven't heard from GQ yet, hopefully I will tomorrow. I know she has bedn very busy but I'm sure we'll get the details together soon.

I think we decided the centers should be between 10 and 18 inches but please don't quote me on that.

I read in here someplace that the center was to be 12 to 18 inches.
Can it be rectangular instead of square? I hope so cause mine is.

Oh no, mine is too big it is 24 inches square, I guess I will have to start again. I do have another idea using the same appliqued birds that would go together just as quickly. I can use these birds to keep working on the calendar quilt.

Ann, Wait until we hear from GQ about the size. I don't think we've decided on a size yet, I was just giving an idea of what we might do.

Carin, rectangular is fine, no worries! :)

Leetec, don't worry I will wait but I might change it anyway. Last year I did birds on one of my round robins and I am just now layering it to start the quilting. I was thinking that maybe I should try something different like flowers or an Easter theme might be a better idea. Like I said I will wait but may change anyway.

It's OK with me if you do a 24", my design was going to finish 20". Amie

I think the idea is we just dont want one persons to be like 54" wheneveryone else is 18". I don't think 24 is a big deal.

Maybe a limit of 24" would be good. Maybe we will be grouped according to size also. Amie
