new quilt top

I recently joined a group of ladies that make quilts for cancer patients here in the San Antonio area. They rely on donations of fabric, batting and sewing supplies to make their quilts. They make bundles of a lap quilt, booties and small gifts that they deliver to a cancer center and hand out to patients.

This is one of my finished quilt tops.

That is so nice! Is it an original pattern? Does it have a name?

Ann,

It is an original pattern. I was given 3 different fabrics and asked to see what I could do with them. One was a stripped fabric with a floral border print, one light green and one overall floral design. I cut triangles out of the border design and pieced them together to make the center medallion and then worked out from there. I am really happy with the way it came out and I hope that whomever it goes to it brings them a little comfort.
