Great job, although, I am sure that it must have really been a challenge. I don't know if I could do something like this for somebody else. You are not only talented but brave.

Thanks, everyone, for the encouragement - if you could see what I use (a Simplicity Quilter's Machine from Wal-Mart), that would floor you!
I do think that I have DH convinced that this is something I'm really interested in (yep, that's an understatement), he wants to get me a better machine! LOL!

CindyB - I'd take that ball (DH wants you to get a better machine) and run with it!!!!!!! Are you seriously thinking about it?

Re: Grandmother's Flower Garden
Cindy - yep, I've checked out Janome, and Husquvarna, but the Husquvarna's way to expensive (cheapest at Jo-Anne's was $2000). I liked the Janome I tried, it was way quieter, and had a bigger area to quilt with - it was one that can go on the quilt frame (Gracie) and become a mid-arm quilting machine. yep, I liked that one.....but the quilt shop I tried it at is 2 hours away from me....
Waiting for my LQS to start selling Bernina's (by the end of the year), and then I'll decide....
I also liked the price of the Janome, it was on sale for $1000, reg. $1200.

Wow, you do beautiful work! I would like a machine with a bigger area to quilt with. Mine is a Janome but small. I don't think I could do anything bigger than a twin.
