Man, with all these sweet compliments I think I'm just going to go home and start planning another quilt! LOL! Thanks so much for your compliments and encouragement, ya'll are the best! Actually, I am starting to work on the QIAD Pineapple quilt with the Fairy Frosts in latte, champagne and pumpkin (or copper, forgot the name of that particular color). I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew with that pattern because it's for advanced, and that I am NOT...but I'm going for it anyway, afterall, it's a QIAD pattern...enough said! The book and DVD are Pineapple Quilt - Piece of Cake and it is written by our sweet "Batty Loretta"! Some of you newcomers may not remember Loretta, but us old-timers on here do...she is a wonderful lady and so incredibly talented! Check out this book and DVD, I've watched the DVD and read the book umpteen times preparing for this upcoming quilt...I am determined to do this! I've admired the Pineapple pattern for a long time, but the only way I'd attempt it is if it's a QIAD pattern...ya'll go to the online store and check it out!

Was this pattern hard? How long did it take? I've got my fabrics picked out, but can't decide if it is too much piecing for me,lol! Time is a hot commodity around here if ya know whatta mean!
I love your Mom's quilt, just beautiful. Amie :o)

Pilot, Daisy says "right back at'cha"! She's in what I call her "puppy rug postion". quilterbee, this pattern is very easy to make and lots of fun, too. I'm working on my 2nd one now made from Through the Seasons fabrics. My first one took longer because I had a lot going on and didn't get to do much piecing at one sitting, but the pattern goes together quickly and is easy to piece. Give it a whirl!

My mom asked me yesterday how I'd sent the quilt to her. I told her UPS-3 day. Said she'd heard that a Fed-Ex truck had wiped out in Tx. and pkgs. were scattered all over the place...and she could just see me hearing about that and pitching a hissy fit that her quilt was laying out in the desert! LOL!

ooops, forgot again....Pam

Saw a pic of that truck wreck with all of the packages scattered all over everywhere. Made me want to cry! I think it was a Fed Ex truck?

It looks great. Haven't used 2 colors in a quilt for a long time. I forgot how good they look. Great Job!

Sometimes simplicity in colors often make the prettiest quilts!! Wish it was mine!!
