Re: sewing machines
My first entry to the Community Forum. Now, about the Brother machines.
They are some of the best commercial sewing machines and sergers built in Japan. I have the PC6500(combination embroidery and sewing machine). It is computerized and is a love, lots of extras and easy to use. Any questions, call the dealer after you have read the instruction manual. This is the second Brother machine I have had--the first being a 400 D, a very small machine with embroidery included--it was a delight. The PC6500 is much larger. These are not Walmart machines. I never go to sew and preface my thoughts with trying to figure how to overcome a problem the machine might have--I have never had a problem with a Brother machine. Easy to load the bobbin, has self threading for needle, easy to clean--NO OILING--just vacuum or blow it out. If you need info re a Brother machine, call Kenssewing -- info at kenssewing.com. They are in Muscle Shoals. Alabama.

I agree about Ken's Sewing Center, he's my dealer, too. People all over the country deal with him and he's wonderful. Takes super good care of me and he's the cheapest around. I live in Nashville, Amie

Brother, I am currently using Janome Handheld Electric Sewing Machine. It is really nice and can be taken anywhere with me because of its lightweight. Check out its customer reviews at www.bestportableproducts.com/best-porta ... -machines/
