Oh Littlebit they are gorgeous! I haven't gotten much done the past week or so. Slowly (very slowly) getting blocks done for linda. Going today to get sashing and boarders for a top to send to linda then will focus back on this project and christmas. My oldest sister has been in the hospital all week following a stroke. She was moved out of ICU yesterday and hopefully home today or tomorrow. She lives in Nevada so I can't be there and it has been real hard to sit and focus on sewing. It's funny how God sends you a curve ball every once in awhile. I'm sure there is a purpose in it somewhere.

Your blocks are beautiful, Littlebit!
WeSig, so sorry to hear about your sister! I hope she has a full recovery and will keep you and her in my heart and thoughts.

Bumping to the top. Anyone else got the 6th block done? I haven't got my 1800 one done but will pick the fabric today. All my quilts waiting to be binded at laying aross my dining room table as I have overnight guests sleeping in the bed I drape them across. If they go home tonight I can put my sewing machine back up and maybe sew a block or two. Thinking about #7.

I think I need to get this book... your blocks are just gorgeous... They will all be beautiful quilts. Thanks for sharing, I especially like that they are all in different fabrics and I can get an idea of what to use.... really really neat blocks....

Got my fabric all out but will not be able to sew until after the 1st. On Black Friday, my DH decides to go shopping. Just wants to look mind you. Well let me tell you, after $2600 at Circut City, the new TV will not fit in the old entertainment center neither will all the new home theater system stuff. So Sunday, we are going shopping for a stand of some sort to put the consoles on (TV is now on the wall). Left out that he has promised DGS the old EC to put in his room to put his TV and video game stuff. Can't get it through the door. So now DGS feels since we said he could have something new, he should get something new. Besides, the old dresser he was using is old and starting to fall apart. We are moseying (sp) around the furniture store and we come across this really cool kids set. Boy Dear Grandpa thinks that is just what the DGS needs. It is only another $1200 or so. (We haven't found anything for my living room yet mind you) Well, of course, he has to show it too DGS who falls in love instantly. Now we finally find something for the tv equipment and stuff for the living room. That was a $1700 trip. Next to wal mart for odds and ends and the $20 stand that DH said previously really wouldn't work. Well it better work until after Xmas as the new one isn't coming until after that! DGS new bedroom set will be here this week so tearing his room apart to get the old stuff out. He is sleeping in the extra room where all my sewing stuff is! My quilts that need binding are draped across my dining room table/sewing table with no where else to go so I can sew! And DH is just looking! I would hate to see the bill if he actually went to buy anything. So I will pick a block for December and get mine sewn when my house is put back together.

We, it sure sounds like your house is fun right now!!! LOL. I know what you mean. You can go all year long without DH getting into trouble then they make up for it in one fell swoop!!! Mine did almost the same thing to me last Christmas!! It was a good thing that we were moving into a house from a tag a long trailer and had to buy most of our funiture anyways!!
Take your time & don't stress over this block. They will get done & I am supposing that we have other things that need to be done to take up the slack.
I am sure that there are others out there that have some UFO's that need some attention. or maybe some current projects. I have been trying to find an e-mail with the new name for our UFO's. They are now called 'PIGS', but I can not find the letter telling me what it stands for. I think it is 'projects in grocery sacks'.
It really doesn't matter because they are both NOT DONE!!!
Merry Christmas, Sharon V.
