This is very beautiful and very rustic. I like it so much. It would look wonderful in a cabin in the woods or a nice den in a home that is made to look woodsy.

fatcat, I love your quilt! I saw your QIAD Country Lanes quilt awhile back on here and loved it so much it inspired me to make one, too! I love the pattern because it's perfect for show-casing those gorgeous large scale or novelty fabrics that are too "glorious to cut up"!!! I love an Irish Chain pattern, too, so it's kinda the best of both worlds. This pattern really offers lots of variation and every quilt looks different...there are so many things you can do with it. Again, I love your quilt, afterall, I loved it so much it inspired me to give it a whirl! Thanks for sharing your beautiful work of art! And...thanks to El, of course!!!!

Beautiful!!! I just saw GP's blue and white quilt and thought the two colors were perfect but. . . . this is very very nice also. Good pattern for show casing like you used it. Your color choice makes it look old world and kind of Tuscany looking.

What book is this pattern from?

Oasis, I agree....I love how fatcat's quilt looks Old World...beautiful! When I saw the first pics of hers (I think it was before it was quilted, can't remember) I just had to make one, too. Wish I'd been in that auction, I'd love to have fatcat's quilt! I want to make several more of these in different fabrics, really a fun quilt to make! It's in Quilts Through the Seasons. I just keep coming back to "ooohhhh and aaahhhh" over this one...love it!

Oh by the way, I went to the auction and bought it back. They were selling it too low, so I bumped up the price and it's mine again.

Thanks for all the wonderful compliments.
