Where did you get the "Minnesota" blocks? They are really cute and nice with the colors you used. Beautiful...can't wait to see all of it finished!!

Gals
The flower block, is the Minnesota State Flower, the Lady Slipper. The Lady Slipper block is actually more maroon than purple-it just looks purple on the computer!
There will also be blocks with the Minnesota State Bird--The Loon (no not the mosquito) and Pine Trees! I found the fabric at a quilt shop in St. Cloud, and HAD to have it. I think it's made by Moda, and was a limited edition. I was told that if I didn't get it then, it would be GONE and never to return! So I grabbed it!
Got 2 more blocks done tonite and will have some center squares left over, so when I get around to making a quilt for the cabin, they will be perfect!
Thanks for your nice comments

Mary, they look great! I think my favourite is the block in the top left corner...

Maryq, those are some beautiful blocks. I love the fussycut center and your color combinations work really great.
