What is the purpose of these stockings? I am relatively new to the site and must have missed this. You mentioned soldiers. My son is finally getting to leave Baghdad on the 14th of October. Pray that he remains safe.
He is a civilian government employee working on the restoration of the communication systems over there and is in Baghdad and not armed. Are these for soldiers in Iraq or in military hospitals here?

Yes, the stockings are for Soliders in Iraq. Georgiapeach is trying to get 300 of them and will stuff them and send them to our soldiers. We want to make sure they know we care about them and are thinking of them.

GP.......had a customer come into the bank on Friday with 13 stockings that she's completed for us. And, she'll be bringing more in shortly from her "ladies sewing group." I'll send them all at one time to you!!
