Swedish quilt exhibition, part III (The maybe-not-so-traditional-stuff)

OK, if you can stand it, here's yet some more pics from the quilt show..:-)

There was a group of women who had decided to work with the same pattern, a torso with a corsage (if that is the right English word?), but personalize them according to the theme "SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE..."

One felt like "...buttoned up":

Another felt like "...Superwoman":

A third felt like "...the bride":

Another felt like a "...police woman":

And, a few others along the same lines:

Another fun thing was four landscape motifs, reflecting the four seasons, mounted in two antique window frames:

And, lastly, a fun bird of a very undefined kind:

That's all folks! You will not hear one more word about the quilt show, I promise, LOL!

The bird just cracks me up! LOL It's got real character! and the landscapes are so rustic looking with their wooden frames. The "torso" collection is very clever too.
Come on Maria, keep those photos rolling, no one will complain!!
I think it's great to see that quilting has such a large following all around the world.

Thanks for sharing a part of Sweden with all of us.

When it comes right down to it, this show shows we quilters are all the same no matter where we come from.
Have Fun,

How clever! I hope no one ever has to wear those corsets, though!

LOL, leetec, no, I don't think anyone ever has to wear the corsets (thanks for giving me the right word!). They were all very securely stitched down to the quilts...:-)

I love ALL of your pics! These Torso's in the corsets are very unique. I love them. I really do love the 4 Seasons in the antique window frames. Keep the pics coming. I love seeing them!
