Hummingbird.....Find a fabric that has a repeat pattern. Then you just cut the same pattern out in a triangle shape (I suggest getting the ruler for this) then sew them together, first half then 2nd half. The hardest part is getting the same match for each triangle.

Go for it!

My compliments to calicopuzzle once again! I have managed to find your pictures eventually! (Never tell anyone there are some headless guys, nobody will notice!) Those are really great quilts! I like your quilting as well.
At the above address anyone willing to learn this beautiful block can find a VERY DETAILED tutorial plus ALL information needed!Just start with a square about 6 1/4", cut in in halves, quarters and both ways diagonally - do this 8 TIMES (FUSSY CUTTING, mark a detail on your square template to be repeated exactly), choose identical triangles and arrange them to a pinwheel ... you will learn everything in the tutorial, no question is goint to stay unanswered! And - ENJOY!
Regards,
Inka

What a nice website Inka. . . .the quilts are beautiful. Tutorial is done very nice. I had not read anywhere to cut the square first, should make it easier than working with the whole fabric.

Hummingbird. . . .definitely go to the website Inka posted.
