I have to show you...

I know it is not a quilt but it is my daughter this afternoon...She looks so happy, that i have to show it to you. It always lets my heart melt like icecream in the sun when she is smiling like that....
(dont laugh about me ;.-)))

She certainly does look happy. We love seeing kids along with quilts. She has quite a desk there....looks like she likes to do crafts too.

Your blocks are beautiful. When I first started to quilt I was going to do everything by hand. LOL That lasted for one block, and decided I was too old and would only get one quilt made in my lifetime. But I dearly love to hand quilt. Have to piece by machine though.

Your little one is precious. What a doll!! Is she happy to be back in school?

Hand quilting?? OMG The way I hand sew, if I were ever to attempt sewing a whole quilt by hand it would fall apart!

Your blocks do look beautiful!

Her eyes are so happy! I think you can tell a lot about a person through their eyes. She is just adorable!

Like your "Cards" pattern. I tried that once and it go so messed up. Love the fabric colors.
Have Fun,

What a beautiful child! (just like Mom)

Your blocks are VERY nice. Hand pieced are you kidding?????? How nice.
I thought I was going to hand piece a quilt, once, it would have never been completed in my lifetime! I love the look, but it's the ole sewing machine for me.

Have a good week.

Such a BEAUTIFUL child! Yes, she certainly does look so very happy. Maybe one day she will be your quilting companion.

Your quilt is just gorgeous as well. LOVE the colors you chose.

Josi did the first steps in quiolting. Just cutting a bit and then sewing on the machine. only with my help but she loves it. she makes little pillows for her dolls. Thanks for all of your compliments....

Sometimes she asks me " Mama, can wo do seiwng??? just a little gift for Papa?" then i have to explain to her, that it is not gooing so fast as she likes. It needs a little bit to do something ready. I think she will be a good Quilting partner one day.....i hope it...

I have to go to bed now. it is 10.00 pm.....here.

Good night

i love to sew by hands. For me it is to more together with the quilt. It is hard to explain, but to paint the sewinglines and to cut each piece and then sew it together, makes me feel so good. hope you can understand what i mean!!??
I think i give more from myself into the quilt. Does this makes sence???
