Thanks everybody!
I plan to machine quilt it. Probably outline the blocks and then do a diagonal through the blocks and cornerstones so the cornerstones become 'x's. The original pattern called for the cornerstones to be of the same fabrics as the blocks but my fabrics were so busy that I liked the way the blue set them off. I had a lot of fun buying all the fabrics! My husband didn't want a 'girly' quilt so this is what I came up with LOL. I will probably paint the bedroom a soft blue to go with it.
I had a ton of strips left (my error) so may work on some pillow shams or curtain edges or something to finish out the room.
