What a help you are! I too, have a bunch of mismatched charity scraps. Using sashing is brilliant! I'm so glad you shared this.

Love the sashing... think it makes all the difference. IMHO, w/o it it would look kind of "muddy" if you know what I mean. This way it almost looks stained glass! How unique!

quilt looks really great with the black sashing, it really sets off all the different blocks. I made a similar top with black sashing, it just makes the quilt come together.

Beautiful quilt. So elegant looking. You're inspiring me to do something "outside the box pattern". I'm usually so afraid of making a mess that I just follow patterns. Going to have to try to muster up so creative juices..............carol
