Here's one website...

I think someone mentioned this already with the bandaids and RX bottles.

Thanks Grammy

I've seen that fabric... Might just get a little bit of it and then fussy cut parts to use for the blocks... Sure wish there were more choices out there!

AHEM! *cough* *cough*

I was in Hobby Lobby yesterday and saw some medical prints - kinda cute, actually!

Don't forget - fall colors! LOL! I'm sure you'll do fine!

I got some awesome gold and yellow and brown fabric there yesterday, and oh, my - they so remind me of the changing maple trees!

lilspirit, did you wash your fabric before you made the quilt? If you did and it didn't shred then, I don't know how to help you! Did you use a good 1/4" seam? What kind of fabric was it? If it was loosely woven, that might be the reason - like homespuns? We'd like to help - we don't want you to be discouraged with quilting!!!!

My Mom had a rotary cutter sharpener. I don't think she was too happy with it. If I can find it, I'll private message you and you can give me your address and I'll send it to you to try.

Does anyone know of a website where you can type in the search engine the Manufacturer and description of a fabric and they will search 140 quilt shops to find it for you?

You might look in some of these flyer magazines that have scrub uniforms in them (I get them at work, you could ask any nurse, technologist, or medical professional) Some of them are very nice and not very expensive at all, the material is high quality as we are always having to wash the dang things!! In fact, a lady at work cut up some old scrubs for a special quilt that she made several years ago. Very beautiful and it hangs in her office.

Lilspirit - first off, welcome to the forums!!! Where in Iowa are you? I'm in Carroll County.

I've seen those sharpeners in JoAnne's in Des Moines, University Ave. store. They are expensive, though, about $75, but I think if you spread that out over your lifetime, it would be a good deal.
