Whopeee! My blocks arrived today! They are all georgeous and will go together really well. I'm very happy with all of them.
Thank you Cindy. I'm sorry you've had so many problems during this time. I hope you'll have smooth sailing in 2008.

YEEEE-HA!!! I got my blocks yesterday! Wow, they are gorgeous! Everyone did such lovely work! I am looking forward to playing with them, like a little kid with a new toy!
CindyB, thanks so much for organizing this swap! I hope things are beginning to smooth over for you and your family, and that 2008 will be a much easier year on everyone.

Re: Fall Block Swap - Closed
Was in the sewing storage room. I saw a small tin that I decided to look in. I knew what was in it but just wanted to make sure it was still intact. There are 4 sets of hair combs that my sister who just recently passed had made for my Mom. I got them when my Mom passed away 12 years ago. I have never used them for fear of loosing one.
Then I saw a plastic bag behind it that looked like it had fabric in it. I pulled it out and lo and behold, it is the blocks from this swap! Forgot all about them! I am going to leave them out and start looking for sashing and borders and put this together! Not many of us still here but some are.
Maryq do you remember the lily pads fabric!
i would not have know what there were but one quilter put a little note on hers that said 2007 fall block swap!
