Got a bunch more HSTs squared up. I think I only have 20 more and I can finish my blocks. But I've got out of town company comming in so it may be a while.

I chose a simple block, Georgia state block, and got all my fabric cut out except the fussycut center squares, and have sewn all my HST's. I used the Thimbleberries Autumn Journey fabrics with the oak leaves and acorns in rust and gold and cream and green. My blocks are super simple, which is what I need right now to get them done in time, but I think it's pretty. I did a little personalization in the center square to make up for the simplicity in the block construction! LOL! So excited to see everyone's blocks!!!

Oh poo, I meant to say I still have to fussycut the four outer squares...I've already done the center squares! LOL!

Starting over. :0 My SIL came to visit and fell in love with my fall bolcks. So, back to the LQS for more fabric. I've got most of the cutting done, back to squaring up HTSs. (sigh)

Lol @ sunsup! I knew this swap would inspire people, but I didn't think it would be your SIL!!! Does this mean that she doesn't quilt? Might this be a chance to get her hooked???!!! LOL! Sorry - I'm silly, it's too early on a Saturday morning!
