I am so thrilled with the Kodak Easy Share. I have taken so really good pictures with it and I am not good at that all. It is totally user friendly.

Re: Digital Camera
My DIL just got a new Kodak Easy Share for her birthday. She wanted this one because of the fast shutter speed. She can take multiple pictures by just holding down the button. So I'm really hoping they can't fix my old one and I have to get this new one. With small children the fast shutter speed is really, really nice. The model number is 27 12IS I think. It's on sale at Best Buy on-line. So far she has been very happy with it. Don't know how the batteries are holding up, but she hasn't said anything.

Re: Digital Camera
I LOVE the EasyShare system......
DD and I both have a Kodak Easyshare - although different ones. They have MANY kinds. Just need to look at the options and get the one you like. We both have a less expensive version and also have the matching printer docks. We each have to have a different one, since different camera - we didn't like that too much. Although, she can then print hers without bringing it to my house. We use the new rechargable (NiMH) batteries and charger. Lasts pretty long and we can still charge while on the printer dock too.
I would recommend getting the memory card - we both have one. I have a large one - and we will "trade" for her vacations. On her honeymoon she was able to take and store 300 pictures.
The software is great. I download and store all my pictures on my computer throught he software in albums. Great organization tool. I create albums by year/month. I can then send to my Canon picture printer any size pictues I want. AND - print on fabric for quilts.
When my DDs memory card is full - we put it in my camera and download her pictures into my software and her albums.
Of course - after three years of pictures (1000s) I have now transferred the older pictures in the albums to CDs (I have a CD writer drive.) Pictures take lots of memory out of my computer, and slows down my computer performance - so I put them on the CDs and can always get back to them later.
Sorry so long - but I hope this is good info for you.
