Okay---you have inspired me to get busy one of these days soon and make a lap sz. quilt using this technique. I just dearly love your work! These would be so nice to have a couple on hand for emergancy type gifts. Thank you for sharing.

I think that will be the next book I purchase. I started out HATING applique, but I think I am really learning to like it.

Just jump in and do this. It is not hard at all. I would pick a different color scheme if I did it again but was determined to use up stash on this learning adventure.

MDQuilta - very nice. I love applique. I don't know if I like hand applique or machine applique better but I just love the way it looks. You did a good job on yours!
