Re: Jelly Roll Swap
So..........Christmas jelly roll in August instead of July, not exactly what I had planned but when you each see the jelly roll you will agree that it was well worth the wait!!! You all did such a wonderful job picking out the most darling fabrics that all will blend so well together. It is going to be such fun hearing about the many projects that are made with them. All have been mailed, (except the one for WeSig, I still plan to go this weekend and sent a PM about that) as of last Saturday...not exactly as I had scheduled, being the boss last week was not what I had in mind and the late days were the pits!! I have had such a wonderful time hosting this swap and can't thank all of you for your well wishes regarding my health issues and starting my new job. You have all touched my heart and I am so blessed to have each of you as part of my quilting family.
Happy stitching!!

Yippie! I just received my jelly roll of Christmas fabric. What a great bunch of fabrics. I don't know what I'm going to make yet, but I will be using them soon. Thanks Stitch for hosting this. And thanks to everyone for the great fabrics.

Re: Jelly Roll Swap
I received my jelly roll but since they were not bagged I have no idea who they were from. There are some really beautiful fabrics in this swap. I will use them to make some extra blocks to go with my blocks from the Christmas swap.

Re: Jelly Roll Swap
I am so happy to hear that some of you have rec'd your packages!!! I tried so hard to find a way to make them into real jelly rolls but every time I would get them rolled up and then tied a ribbon around it, of course the ribbon had to be real tight to hold..........well lets just say that if you don't hold it real level, the center pops out and it was raining christmas fabrics everywhere. I must say it probably was pretty funny if you could have just been sitting there watching but I didn't really find it very amusing as it was happening. I am so glad there was no video camera in the area, you all would have fallen right off your chairs laughing at me in a rainstorm of fabrics!!!
Enjoy finding projects for them, can't wait to hear what we each come up with.
Happy stitching!!

Re: Jelly Roll Swap
zfatcat, yes, I think I got yours because there are lots of red and green.LOL
Well, whoever these strips were from they were all beautiful and I have already grouped them to make some more blocks to go with my Christmas blocks from the other swap. I love getting new fabric and this is great when you can trade off and have a larger variety to work with.

Mine were waiting for me when I got home from the funeral. It was a wonderful suprise to cheer me up. Ladies they are beautiful, I can't decide which pattern to use yet. Thank you Stitch for the hard work. I do wish someone would have gotten pictures and posted of the rolls popping on you though. Thank you again.
