Hey Brandy - Why don't you join the autograph square exchange, we still need more people to do that. They don't have to be done until September 27th or so. Go ahead and check out the Autograph Block Exchange #2, Nadine is running that one. We would love to have you join us

Re: charm square exchange
Leetec.....no problem. I just wanted to be sure. I have my 31 packets all ready to go. I know there was some talk about sending you all of them and then you sending us our own back, but that may have been when there were only 30 signups. Anyway, am sending 31 sets. Thank you so much for doing this. It's going to be so much fun getting everyone's charms.
Brandy...Oh yaaaaah....I've done several of QIAD patterns. I think we all have on this forum. If you ever get a chance to take one of Eleanor's classes be sure and do it. She is so much fun as a teacher. I think what a lot of us like about her patterns is everything gets squared up with her rulers, which makes for a much better quilt. She just makes difficult patterns a lot more fun and easy to make.

I would appricate it if you waited till Aug 20th, that way I'll be sure to be home from OH. All our mail will be forwarded to OH from Aug 4th to the 19th so it's probably be better to wait. If they are frowarded though, and get there after I leave DH will be sure I get them.

Re: charm square exchange
Well, I got my charms cut out last night, I used this opportunity to also get an accurate assessment of my stash, which is whoefully small, compared to some of the pictures I've seen of everyone elses. I cut two 5 inch squares from each of the longer lengths that I had and came up short by about 7 fabrics, so I had to delve into my scrap/fq box and luckly found the remaining. I wanted each fabric to be different.
But I also picked out fabric for a mystery quilt and fabric for a quilted purse/backpack, haven't decided yet what I'm going to do.

Re: charm square exchange
Just got all of my CHARMS sorted and matched and in their baggies. So much fun putting the colors together. This is my first swap/exchange so am probably a little over-excited.
I hope Leetec takes some pictures of her sorting out all of these. I can't imagine how she will make so many decisions.
Can't hardly wait to get them back.

I will take pictures, Oasis, maybe even as the packages come in so you all can get a sense of what has been sent. The first package is in NY or I would do it now. With no furniture to speak of, this would be a great place to spread all the charms out to take pictures and to sort when they've all arrived. Hm, maybe I'll have to come back when I have all the charms...
