Trouble maker - my 14 year old saw the picture and LOVED the bag. Now she wants one. What pattern did you use?

qltsbme: Fons and Porter had one free on their website at one time. They also have a picture of it, to sell in their stuff.

quiltsbme...Im sorry!!! I dont have a pattern,,,,its make em up as you go. I looked at a lot of pics first....I never buy a pattern if I can figure it out on my own. Someone had to design the pattern, so I figured how hard could it be,,,its rectangular,,,lol!!!

qltsbme, first chapter of Egg Money Quilts has instructions for making a tote bag! You could make it larger or smaller. She also shows how to use a fancy hankie instead of a quilt block for the purse. One of these days I'm going to make it. All these pictures are inspiring.

Very cool bag! What designer is the fabric? My sister is nuts for shoes. She even collects those miniature shoes called "Just the Right Shoe". I could make her a bag for Christmas...
