Two tops sent for Lake Tahoe fire victims

Post by CindyB » Sat Jun 30, 2007 8:19 am

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I sent out two quilt tops to one of our fellow forum members who requested quilts for friends who lost everything in the Lake Tahoe fires. Here are pictues:

Due to my being on the road so much the last three weeks, I haven't been able to quilt them, so our forum friend will do this and get them to the people who need them!

I believe these were sent by MaryQ, but made by her friend Vivian! Please correct me if I am wrong!

That is fantastic CindyB. You are a one-woman charity organization. I don't know where you find the time.

It's all one thing at a time!

I've never been able to do anything like just sit and watch TV, I always have to have something going!

Boy Cindy those tops do look familiar... but it's been so long since I've seen them I can't remember! Glad to hear they are be put to good use!

Vivian is wanting to make a quilt for her future grand daughter--so I showed her Pink Lemonade. Might have to help her with it a little, but hey that's what friends are for. Not that I am an Expert by ANY stretch of the imagination!

BTW, the blue walls in the background is actually my three season room...we had to move the double bed down there this spring when DH had back surgery.... it hasn't moved back upstairs yet, for a variety of reasons.... it's a nice place to nap!

Cindy,

Those are very nice!
Remember, everyone, this is what we are sending blocks for, to help those in need!

Don't forget, for each block you send, you will be entered to win a stained glass paenl of your block! Wouldn't it be nice if we could send out quilts as soon as they are needed and not have to wait?

Lets go girls!
