Final Details for Autograph Quilt #2

Just a word about the 2 yards.
I found that you just barley have enough to do the 5 1/2 inch squares. If you haven't purchased your fabric I would buy 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 yards each. With 1 yard each there is NO room for error. OK so we don't make errors! But when cutting the 5 1/2 strips for the triangles I had to leave a couple of blocks with some of the white from the salvage. Once you square it up and take your 1/4 inch seem it shouldn't show.

Hi everyone!

Bev/Nadine2007 mentioned taking pictures. I think that is a great idea. I have mine and will up-load them. I'm waiting to hear from her as to start a thread in the Quilting photos section. Once she lets me know I'll have mine in.
I Hope everyone has a picture or two to put on. It will be so great to put a block with the picture. So grab a camera and have someone take your picture while you are making these blocks.

I'll print the picture and add comments as to who, what, when, where. Then I'll make up a small album to go with my finished quilt.

WHEW I finished my blocks! And I thought I would have a problem with the Oct 31st deadline. They went much quicker that I thought. Now I must sign them. I'll take my time with that so I don't get writers cramps!

Guess Bev took a much needed break. I'm sure she will post the last few people that signed up. I lost track but I think there are only a couple slots left. YEAH we almost have our 40.

Please show us yourself at work on your autograph quilt. If you have already sent in your blocks maybe you could show us a picture of yourself in your sewing room.
This will give you a preview of what blocks you will be getting!
We hope to see as many as possible of the 40 people that have been making these blocks. Great for a scrapbook!
