Okay, I just ordered my fabric I only ordered 3 yards, one each of 3 different fabrics - that will get me started at least. I've got some Kona @ home in the cream color. That is what we're using right?

Really can't wait to get started on this one: will have to do my holiday round robin first - have to prioritize!

I just came back for the LQS with more Kona Cotton........I didn't see this color when I was in there the other day so I bought 'Kahki' and thought I would use some of it in some of the blocks too........
Shish, you just can't have too many choices.... LOL

I bought QIAD fabrics:

Vintage Rose-Butternut, Christy's Rose-Butternut, Gingham-Butternut, Fern-Rust, Christy's Rose-Beige

And no, I am not exactly sure which is going where,,,,,,,,, Yet! lol

Tiggersmom, I'm so glad you're using the Butternut colorway! I was wondering if anyone was going to use it, and it's so pretty I'm glad we're going to get it in there! The khaki kona cotton will be great, too! I'm going to start sewing mine tonight, I've got all the kona rectangles and triangles cut out, so it won't take long to cut the Through the Seasons and get started sewing. In fact, I've got the Christy's Rose Scarlett in the washing machine right now.

how many people do we have so far? how long does it usually take to get the fabric from QIAD? I am so excited to see what I ordered, I don't remember, lol. The ladies at my quilt meetings are so jealous, I may be able to get a quilt started there too.

Michelle, get them to join us on the forum & then they can join the swap & have a quilt also. We need more people & they would probably enjoy the forum.

Just a couple questions: are we supposed to wash our fabric b/f we start our blocks?

Actually maybe just the one...

Michelle, I accidently didn't order my fabric when it was on sale (somehow) I think I forgot to hit the last key to order it anyway I talked to QIAD on friday and recieved it yesterday. If you don't order alot of fabric it is faster. I had 5 yards. If I order 20 or more yards it takes about a week. Bev

I am using

1172 Damask &
1166 Vintage Rose Scarlet
