What a gorgeous little girl! How fun to have somebody to sew with.

Not that I want to wish time away.. it goes too fast anyway, but I can't wait until my little Evie is old enough to sew with Nana!

I love these pics! Oasis you are as cute as can be. And so is that darling little niece. How fun to work on her quilt with her! Another quilter in the making I would say. Your room is so neat & tidy.

You are so pretty, and young-looking! What a darling pic of the two of you together with her first quilt! She will always remember this time spent with you. Love the glass front cabinet. What a nice sewing room, it looks so feminine and girly...love it!!!

Grammy65. . .

I've started a "Pink Lemonade" lap top quilt for an 83 year old friend that lives in Lancaster county, PA. She has always wanted to go to Hawaii but never has. So I'm making her a Hawaian print with the bright colors but with black like the Amish of her area. I just can't decide on the background. I went out today looking and came up with a nice lavendar batik that hopefully will compliment the purple/lavendar in the flowers and leaves. She loves peach and lavendar so wanted to incorporate those colors. Fabric is in the dryer now then will lay it out and see what works. There is another post where quite a few are making the "Pink Lemonade" pattern. I'll post it when it is done. It will be fun to see how everyone has chosen to do the same pattern but with so many variations.

The little quilt is for her Barbie.
