I would also like directions if possible. My DDIL is a nurse in labor and delivery. Would make a great tote to carry all her goodies for those long 12 hour shifts she works.

I'd like the pattern, too!
I'm so glad you like the fabric and it looks even better made up.

Re: Nurse Fabric Tote....
I dont have a pattern.I made it up as I went along.Just looked at pics and got ideas. Basically you make two rectangles, whatever size you desire. Fusible batting goes on the wrong sides. The pockets are a rectangle that is folded over a piece of batting and sewn on three sides and turned.I like to make the pocket the same width as the front and backs so you can pin it on and sew it into the seams, but it is really bulky for my machine so I made the pockets a bit narrower and sew them on before I do side seams.I put binding on the top edge of pocket for trim.Sew bag right sides together. The lining is exact size as the front and back rectangles.Sew it right sides together.Leave wrong side out and insert in bag.Line up tops of bag and lining. Put binding on the top raw edges as you would a quilt. If you want handles like in the pic they would go on each flat rectangle before you sew them up.I used the pocket edges as a guide to place handles.Or you can sew on handles to just the top edges after the rest is done.Im not good at directions,,,but if you look at pics of bags its not hard. There are also several free patterns on line.Google Quilted Totes and click on IMAGES and there are tons of pictures. Hope this helps!!!! ~~~~~ Caroline

Great bag! Love it. Caroline do you use anything in the bottom of the bag to help hold the shape? Some use needlepoint plastic canvas, cardboard, etc. Your bag is so neatly constructed.
