Here is my "Pressing Basics" quilt project

Post by Granma2five » Sat Jun 23, 2007 6:34 pm

Hello,

I was reading a thread about pressing seams. There were some excellent suggestions given for seam pressing. I'd like to add my experience here. I recently completed Myrna Giesbrecht's class "Pressing Basics" at Quilt University, found here, www.quiltuniversity.com. Excellent class, it has revolutionized my quilting, which was really off to a slow start. I'd recommend it to anyone, at any level of experience. 4 weeks of Lessons for $36 and WELL worth every penny!

Here's my pic of my completed quilt top. Still have to finish it, but at least this part is done.

Blessings,

I'm copy and pasting the photo's URL, but I don't see any photo here. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help.

Well, this just isn't going very well at all. I'm trying "Plan B" and if it fails too, I'll need some help here.

This is a link to my pic in my Opera browser Photo section. I'll try that for now.

Finally, success with the link anyway. I'm getting brave, now. I'll try for the actual picture.

Thanks for the tip about "QuiltUniversity.com".

I think I am going Take the "Minature Landscape" class on July 7th. I love landscape quilts but can't seem to get the hang of them.
