Re: fabric postcards summer swap
You can make some very interesting designs using paper piecing and when working with something this small it is easier than regular piecing. I don't mind doing paper piecing but it is not my favorite thing to do. Next one will be needle turn applique for the month of march, as you can see I am doing them in a monthly holiday theme.

Re: fabric postcards summer swap
I just received my Quilters Newsletter Magazine and they have an article on postcards. Just thought those in this swap would be interested. Lori

Thanks zfatcat.
I made 4 postcards today. I'm going to add some embellishment, then I'll try to add photo to community.

I'm going to try and add a photo tomorrow. It's too late to take pix tonight, I think they will be dark.
I made about 15 postcards, I couldn't stop making them. Their addicting.

Re: fabric postcards summer swap
I have finished 4 of my postcards and will probably do more this week.
Is anyone writing anything on the back or are we to leave them blank? I am not sure what to do.

I think we should write a message on the back. Also, if you want to identify what postcard goes to who - you can write their name on card. IE: naniyosie or Joanne.
